“Dear Debbie” opened for the first surgery this morning. She saw 23 “patients” today and gave them all tips mainly on the set up and backswing. No patients showed any critical signs and are all on the mend already.
Don’t forget the surgery runs every Wednesday until 28th March. There is also complimentary tea and coffee.
Last night there were 17 boys and 2 girls that attended club coaching. They all showed great enthusiasm and were keen to learn.
This bodes well for the future of Blackwood Golf Centre.
Debbie is opening her surgery on 8th February for 6 weeks. This is a series of free surgeries to help improve your golf in time for Spring. It is at 10am to 11.30am.
It is open to everyone and there will be complimentary tea and coffee.
I am happy to announce that there will be 2 competitions a week in the summer for the junior members. There will also be a Junior Captains Day, and a professional prize. Phil Cafolla is the first ever junior captain – well done Phil.

Well done to Jordan and Drew for finishing 1st and 2nd respectively in the Christmas competition yesterday. They had scores of 23 points and 21 points, which in that strong wind and heavy rain is amazing.
The next Junior Member competition is 29th December at 11.00am. You can bring any friends with you as well to vie for the visitors prize. Please meet at 10.45
There is a special green fee rate up until the end of February 2012.
The Hamilton Course will be £19 at the weekend and £14 during the week. The Temple Course will be £10 all week.
