Juniors

In the last 6 months we have been working hard to ensure that the Junior section of Blackwood G C has not felt neglected.

First of all there was a competition at Christmas, followed by 8 weeks of group tuition with upwards of 17 juniors attending each night. Then there was an Easter competition which was won with a massive 56 points.

The next baptism is the entry into the Fred Daly Matchplay Competition and we have been drawn to play The Hilton Templepatrick in the first round. The first match will be on Sunday 22nd April at 12.30 at Blackwood and the return match will be at the Hilton the following Sunday at the same time.

Good Luck to them all – it’ll be a great experience.
